Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Services

Aloe Mediation offers a Professional Plan billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us (via our payment processor, Paystack) to charge your designated payment method R199.00 at the start of every billing cycle.

2. Cancellation Policy

Voluntary Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the 'Billing' tab in your Mediator Dashboard.

Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation stops future billing. You will retain access to Professional features until the end of your current paid billing cycle. After this period, your account will revert to the 'Free' tier, and access to additional active matters may be restricted.

Notice Period: No notice period is required. You can cancel up to 24 hours before your next scheduled payment date to avoid being charged.

3. Refund Policy

General Rule: As Aloe Mediation is a digital service with immediate access, we do not offer refunds for partial months, unused services, or accidental renewals if you failed to cancel in time.

Free Trials: If you are on a promotional trial (e.g., Academy Graduate Code), you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial period expires.

Billing Errors: If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge due to a technical glitch), please contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a full refund for confirmed system errors within 7 business days.

4. ECTA & Cooling-Off Period

In terms of Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, the 7-day cooling-off period does not apply to electronic services that have begun with the consumer's consent before the end of the 7-day period. By using the Professional features immediately upon upgrade, you acknowledge that you forfeit this cooling-off right.
