Gillian Brollo

I am a NABFAM-accredited family law mediator, registered with the HPCSA, with experience in family dispute resolution, the Children’s Court and matters involving children and parenting arrangements. My current work under ACR in the Protea Children’s Court has given me practical insight into court processes and the legal framework governing parental rights and responsibilities, including the Children’s Act. I understand the importance of mediation outcomes being properly documented and aligned with the relevant legal and procedural requirements. I work with separating and divorcing couples, including high-conflict matters, with a practical focus on helping parties reach workable agreements. My background in psychology and drama therapy provides additional skills in managing conflict and communication, but my role as a mediator is to facilitate a structured, impartial and legally informed process. I am also available to conduct Child Participation Interviews in accordance with HPCSA and NABFAM guidelines.
