About
Approach
Susan Wasserman’s work is guided by a family-centred and child-focused approach, drawing on over four decades of professional social work experience. Her methodology combines mediation, counselling, and therapeutic support to help individuals and families navigate complex emotional and relational challenges. Central to her practice is the belief that the wellbeing of children must remain the primary consideration in all family decisions. Susan creates a safe and respectful environment where parties are encouraged to communicate openly and work toward constructive, long-term solutions. Her mediation and counselling approach is grounded in neutrality, confidentiality, empathy, and active listening. Through these principles, she supports families in resolving conflict with dignity and clarity, helping individuals move forward with greater understanding while striving for the best possible outcomes for the entire family.
